- Information Equipment requiring EMC Registration
- Radio Equipment requiring Type Registration
- Radio Equipment requiring Type Official Registration
- Wire line terminal equipment requiring Type Approval

Information Technology Equipment (ITE) has a primary function of either (or a combination of) entry, storage, display, retrieval, transmission, processing, switching, or control, of data and of telecommunication messages and which may be equipped with one or more terminal ports typically operated for information transfer, and with a rated supply voltage not exceeding 600V. But radio equipment is excluded.

It includes, for example, computer and their peripheral devices and wire line terminal equipment.

Wire line terminal equipment which is under the scope of the above, must also satisfy EMC requirements. In this case, it does not need a separate certification for EMC registration, when you apply for type approval, you must submit test reports for EMI and EMS.

The following Radio equipment that can be used generally is subject to Type registration:
  1. Radio equipment used for a radio paging station
  2. Transmitting and receiving devices with a single channel which uses radio waves of a single side band (equipment requiring type official approval excluded)
  3. Radiosonde and radio robot equipment used for meteorological aid stations
  4. Radio buoy equipment
  5. Transmitting and receiving devices using radio waves of F3E and G3E (equipment requiring type official approval excluded)
  6. High frequency medical equipment requiring installation approval
  7. Radio equipment for simple radio station
  8. Mobile subscription radio telephone devices
  9. Radio equipment for Personal mobile communications
  10. Radio equipment for wireless information and communications using radio waves having the frequency band of 900 §Ö
  11. Frequency sharing radio telephone systems
  12. Radio equipment for a specific small-output radio station
  13. Radio equipment for a living radio station
  14. Radio equipment can be used without permission pursuant to Article 30, paragraph 1 and 2 of the Presidential Decree by Radio Waves Act (here-in-after referred to as "radio equipment using weak radio waves")
  15. Radio equipment for maritime mobile telephone use
  16. Radio equipment for satellite mobile communication radio station
  17. Radio equipment for amateur radio station (equipment manufactured and/or assembled for purposes of personal use is excluded)
  18. Radio equipment for radio detection duties
  19. Radio equipment for subscriber local loops
  20. Radio equipment for emergency radio telephone
  21. Radio equipment for radio CATV

The following radio equipment that is highly relevant to human life is subject to Type official approval:
  1. Automatic warning receivers installed on ships
  2. Rescue boat using portable radio telegraphic equipment fitted on ships
  3. Radio direction finding devices for a ship station
  4. Radio equipment which has to be installed compulsorily on airplanes pursuant to Article 28 of the Radio Waves Act
  5. Automatic warning telephone devices
  6. Radio beacon equipment for emergency positioning
  7. Transmitting and Receiving devices with a single channel which use radio waves of a single side band and are used for maritime mobile service or aeronautical mobile service.
  8. Radars for radio navigation on ships and their associated radar floating devices.
  9. Bi-directional radio telephone devices for ships using radio waves of F3E and G3E.
  10. Digital selective paging devices
  11. Narrow band direct printing telegraphic devices
  12. Transmitting and receiving devices for maritime mobile service radio station, which communicate through digital selective paging devices etc.
  13. Receivers specialized in digital selective paging
  14. Navigation Telex
  15. Search and rescue use radar transponder equipment

- Equipment that can be connected to a demarcation point of backbone communication networks
- Wire line terminal equipment not directly connected to the backbone communication network, which can
- cause harm to backbone communications network operators and/or users, as listed below.
1) For equipment requiring type approval, which are systems, together with the system itself the
1) peripherals and/or accompaniment are also included (peripherals and/or accompaniment that can be 1) used separately without the system and excluded).
2) Terminal equipment for integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN)
3) Digital communications devices directly connected to Channel Service Units (CSU).
- Telecommunications equipment which can be directly connected to the demarcation point of a transmission
- network.
